The good folk at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival have managed to reschedule the 2021 festival! This is good news and I am thrilled to be able to launch the two most recent recordings from the Johannes Luebbers Dectet (JLD) - Other Worlds and Divide and Conquer - as a part of the celebrations.

Together, these recordings form the complete 10x10x10 project JLD initiated in 2017. The project features ten new compositions, each a feature for one of the ten ensemble members, and includes some of the music I am most proud of. With the support of the Melbourne Jazz Coop the project was birthed at the Melbourne Recital Centre in 2017 and 2018, and I am thrilled to be able to finally launch them.
